I am in the market for a new camera

I love the camera I have, I have taken so many wonderful shots with it. I will write about it at another time. It has two drawbacks and would like some feedback about other people's experiences with some other cameras.

The first one the time between taking pictures and also a camera that does well in low light. At the moment I have a Kodak camera.

I will be using this blog to document my search for a camera and other stuff I need for my artistic endeavors. I have just started my own photography and web studio and definitely need to upgrade my camera. I may be thinking of a Canon camera.any other suggestions would be welcome.
